1st July 2007 - Polish central bank raises interest rates by 0.25%
One month ahead of expectations, the Polish Monetary Council raised official interest rates by a quarter of a percent to 4.5%. The move was based on pricing pressures from the labour market and concerns over the possibility of inflation increasing.
